Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- minimum two years of relevant experience in logistics or transportation preferred
- knowledge of transportation environments and dispatch software preferred
- intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility and self-motivation to succeed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of two years experience in logistics, transportation, or DOT driver routing
- advanced knowledge of transportation environment including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and dispatch
- proficiency in warehouse or routing and dispatch software systems
- intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong organizational and time management skills
- detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Job Duties
- Provide real-time route support for drivers
- support retail clients and end-user customers
- support end-of-day logistics operations and driver check-in
- serve as a lead dispatcher guiding and answering questions during shifts
- address and resolve customer issues within scope or escalate to management
- backfill for dispatchers when needed
- ensure all operational forms are accurately completed
- provide training to new hires and existing staff
- monitor and report if productivity goals are not met
- perform other duties as assigned
