Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • minimum two years of relevant experience in logistics or transportation preferred
  • knowledge of transportation environments and dispatch software preferred
  • intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • flexibility and self-motivation to succeed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum of two years experience in logistics, transportation, or DOT driver routing
  • advanced knowledge of transportation environment including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and dispatch
  • proficiency in warehouse or routing and dispatch software systems
  • intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Job Duties

  • Provide real-time route support for drivers
  • support retail clients and end-user customers
  • support end-of-day logistics operations and driver check-in
  • serve as a lead dispatcher guiding and answering questions during shifts
  • address and resolve customer issues within scope or escalate to management
  • backfill for dispatchers when needed
  • ensure all operational forms are accurately completed
  • provide training to new hires and existing staff
  • monitor and report if productivity goals are not met
  • perform other duties as assigned
