Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Passion for culinary, pastry and baking
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience or culinary education with less than 2 years experience
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Ability to follow recipes in high-volume environment
  • Speed, accuracy, and efficiency under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in fast-paced team environment
  • Strong listening and organizational skills
  • Desire to provide excellent guest service
  • Flexible to work variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, special events

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field/restaurants with a focus on high-volume production
  • Culinary education degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Strong experience with cakes, plated desserts, banquet and restaurant environments
  • Strong piping skills
  • Ability to follow and understand recipes in a mass volume environment
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced team
  • Strong listening and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate desire to provide excellent guest service and teamwork
  • Flexible to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Job Duties

  • Create and design specialty desserts and show pieces
  • Lead cake decorating for weddings and special events
  • Prepare products according to recipe guidelines
  • Uphold kitchen safety and sanitation including temperature requirements
  • Assist Chef in preparing items for guests with special dietary needs
  • Operate bakery tools, measurements, ingredients, equipment, and small wares
  • Clean kitchen equipment and practice HACCP procedures
