Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in dishwashing or kitchen work preferred
- physical ability to perform duties including standing and walking for extended periods
- capability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs independently
- ability to maneuver and push or pull heavy carts up to 100 lbs
- authorization to work in the United States
- willingness to work in a team environment and follow safety and cleanliness protocols
Job Qualifications
- Ability to understand and follow direction in English
- basic ability to communicate in English
- ability to set up and operate dish washing equipment
- ability to stand and walk for 100 percent of the work day
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently
- ability to push and pull bus carts and tray carts weighing up to 100 lbs independently
- ability to bend, stoop, reach and balance frequently throughout the work day
- must be authorized to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Performs dish and pot washing under the direction of supervisory personnel
- general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies
- sets up the dish and pot washing area
- prepares for dish washing and washes pots, dishes and utensils
- distributes and stores clean and dry pots, dishes and utensils
- cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
- empties trash and recyclable containers as required and necessary
- maintains safe and sanitary conditions
