The Dishwasher/Utility Team Member role at Yard House is fundamental to the daily operations of the kitchen and restaurant facilities. These team members are considered the backbone of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and readily available for the culinary and service teams. Beyond dishwashing, this role extends to maintaining restrooms, common areas, and the overall facilities and grounds, making certain that the restaurant meets high standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to lift heavy items safely
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Basic English language skills
  • Completion of any required health and safety training

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen support roles is a plus

Job Duties

  • Ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized regularly
  • Maintain restrooms, facilities, and grounds to high standards of sanitation and cleanliness
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic prep work and stocking supplies
  • Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely
  • Monitor and replenish kitchen and service stock as needed
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
