Job Qualifications
- No high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- no related work experience necessary
- no supervisory experience required
- ability to operate cleaning equipment
- basic knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to learn and follow instructions
Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashing machine and trash compactor
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, and equipment
- receive deliveries and properly store perishables
- rotate stock to ensure freshness
- use detergent and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink
- inspect and stack cleaned items, return soiled items for re-washing
- rack and spray items with hot water to remove food residue
- sort, soak, and wash silverware
- dispose of trash and recyclables properly
- clean and mop all assigned areas
- report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions to manager
- adhere to safety and security policies
- move and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- support team goals and maintain positive working relationships
- perform other job duties as assigned
