Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashers, hand wash stations, pot wash stations, and waste compactors
- wash and sanitize kitchen areas, storage rooms, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries, properly store perishable products, and rotate stock
- ensure clean dishware is stored in appropriate areas
- use chemical detergents and disinfectants in three-compartment sinks to wash dishware
- inspect, remove, and stack clean items, send dirty items back for re-washing
- spray items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue
- sort, soak, and wash silverware
- separate and sort containers for dirty items
- empty trash bins and maintain trash storage areas
- clean and mop all assigned areas
- dispose of glass in appropriate containers
- break down cardboard and other recyclable materials and place them in recycling bins
- follow all company safety policies and report accidents, injuries, and hazardous conditions
- protect company property and communicate professionally with others
- develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
- comply with quality standards and expectations
- move, lift, transport, push, drag, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- perform tasks involving reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
