Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in dishwashing or similar role preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for 100% of the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently
- Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently
- Willingness to work part-time with no late-night shifts
- Successful completion of criminal background check
- Drug screening
- Provide references
Job Qualifications
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- Ability to set up and operate dish-washing equipment
- Experience in fine dining, hotel, country club, or similar environment preferred
- Detail-oriented and passionate about hospitality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Performs dish and pot washing under supervision
- Conducts general cleaning duties and stores food and non-food supplies
- Sets up the dish and pot washing area
- Prepares for dish washing and washes pots, dishes, and utensils
- Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes, and utensils
- Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen
- Empties trash containers
- Receives and checks deliveries, stores stock appropriately
- Keeps storerooms, freezers, and refrigerators clean and organized
- Mops floors at designated times
