Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must have a reliable form of transportation to and from work
- Valid driver's license
- Able to meet physical job requirements including frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling
- Willingness to work flexible shift schedules including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and split or extended shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous dishwasher experience
- Experience in a country club or fine dining establishment preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers
Job Duties
- Follows all safety protocols
- Prep materials for dish machine by thoroughly rinsing and sorting all soiled dishes, glasses, tableware and other cooking utensils
- Inspect all materials after removal from dish machine to ensure they meet Club standards of cleanliness
- Sort and stack clean materials
- Return all cleaned items to their appropriate storage areas
- Maintain appearance, safety and functionality of dishwashing area by setting up and breaking down as needed, sweeping and mopping floors
- Manual dishwashing is required for larger items such as pots, pans and trays
- Responsible for removing waste from the building to the proper receptacles outside as well as maintenance of the outdoor waste receptacle area
- Conduct daily general restaurant and club cleaning as directed
- Monitor and manage equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by Food & Beverage Leadership
