Job Requirements
- Vaccinated against Covid-19 including booster and present proof
- Requires an active and current Safe Serve Food Handler's Card
- Must clear Live Scan background check in order to be hired
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as server preferred
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team

Job Duties
- Assists with meal preparation according to menus, directions, and instructions
- Reads listings of restricted or special-order diets to assure residents' dietary orders and restrictions are followed
- Places items such as eating utensils, napkins, and condiments on tables
- Prepares food items such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages
- Examines filled plate for completeness and if applicable, places on cart
- Greets and serves meals to residents
- Collects and stacks dirty dishes in busing tubs and returns all items used in meal service to kitchen
- Follows all policies and procedures regarding sanitation, safety and fire prevention, and universal precautions
- Maintains clean work area
- observes cleaning schedules and assignments
- May include sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, washing dishes and cleaning work area, tables, cabinets, and ovens utilizing proper procedures
- Assists in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment
- Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- Follows procedures for proper method of machine dishwashing, including checking the wash and rinse cycle temperature, utilizing the proper amount of detergent and rinse chemical, assuring dishes and other items are properly stacked, as well as the proper method of handling clean dishes
- Places clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers
- Assists in loading or unloading trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food
