Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Physical capability to perform manual labor tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to work in a kosher kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience working as a dishwasher or in a similar kitchen setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of kosher kitchen requirements preferred
- Ability to operate dishwashing machines safely and effectively
- Good physical stamina to handle standing for extended periods and lifting kitchenware
- Strong attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Help maintain a kosher kitchen
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Wash specific items by hand
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
- Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical or performance issues
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
