Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Basic food production and food service knowledge
  • Six months to two years of relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to work day and evening shifts
  • Availability to work every weekend
  • Part-time availability
  • Ability to follow sanitation and safety standards

  • Six months to two years of experience in a similar environment preferred
  • Ability to work variable shifts including day and evening
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Assist in meal service to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
  • Serve meals through patient trays, cafeteria, and special functions
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the food service areas
  • Follow food safety protocols to ensure safe meal preparation and delivery
  • Support team efforts in food production and service
  • Comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Handle special dietary requests and accommodations as directed
