Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work nights and weekends based on business needs
- Clear communication skills
- Commitment to health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a kitchen, food service, or cleaning role is an asset
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with team members
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required
Job Duties
- Handle all food, storage, and cleaning activities in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain sanitation for back-of-house areas including removing garbage, cleaning floors, coolers, freezers, and stock areas
- Keep dish pit, line, and prep areas organized and clean
- Replenish dishes in front and back-of-house
- Communicate clearly with Culinary Manager on supplies and equipment needs
- Support overall café operations by working closely with the culinary team
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
