Job Requirements
- current texas food handler's certificate
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- ability to work long hours due to business demands
- positive attitude professional demeanor exceptional communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to read write speak and understand english additional languages preferred
- ability to meet physical demands including standing walking and lifting over fifty pounds
- willingness to drive and maintain company vehicles safely
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma ged or equivalent vocational training preferred
- minimum one year of line or dish experience in restaurant luxury resort or private club
- ability to chop prepare or cook food items and familiarity with cooking techniques
- understanding of federal state and local food safety and sanitation regulations including state food handlers certificate
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stay calm and focused during busy times
Job Duties
- setup and run the dish area in an organized and clean way
- communicate prep tasks and cleaning tasks for the work week and day
- organize daily deliveries of goods between sites using company vehicles while completing daily duties
- demonstrate safe and proper use of equipment and verify appliance and food temperatures
- peel and chop vegetables as required
- receive deliveries and organize stock
- assist culinary staff with side work and cleaning tasks as needed
