Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
prior experience in food service or sanitation preferred
ability to work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, mornings, and evenings
must obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Card
physical capability to lift heavy items
strong communication skills
ability to work under pressure
team-oriented mindset
compliance with health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

Ability to work weekdays and weekends with availability for morning, noon, and evening shifts on an on-call/event-based schedule
must provide regular and consistent written availability to management
high school diploma, GED, or related food service experience preferred
knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
must obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Card through ServeSafe and other compliance trainings
ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
strong communication skills to interact professionally with employees, management, and guests
physical ability to lift and move heavy objects such as boxes and equipment

Job Duties

Operate dish machine equipment and wash items not dishwasher safe by hand
ensure highest sanitation levels for all items used
clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils and dishes
maintain clean and orderly storage areas for kitchen equipment and supplies
place clean dishes, utensils or equipment in proper storage
operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, garbage disposals and ovens
assist on plate-up and food production line as needed
sort and remove trash or compost and clean after usage
sweep and scrub floors in kitchen and back of house areas
clean up spills and breakage on event and kitchen floors
ensure compliance with health, sanitation, safety and employment regulations
perform other duties as assigned by Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
