Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in foodservice or hospitality preferred
- ability to lift heavy objects and withstand physical demands of the job
- available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow instructions and work independently as needed
Job Qualifications
- prior experience in a dishwasher or cleaning role preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
- basic understanding of health and safety standards in a commercial kitchen
Job Duties
- ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and sanitary
- maintain cleanliness of dish area including floors to prevent slips and accidents
- operate dishwashing machines and hand-wash items as needed
- sort and organize dishes and kitchenware for efficient turnaround
- dispose of trash and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness
- assist kitchen staff as needed with basic food preparation or supply stocking
- follow all health and safety regulations related to sanitation and kitchen safety
