Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 or older
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work in a wet and fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and sanitized
- Maintain a dry dishwashing area to prevent slips and breakage
- Operate dishwashing machines and manual washing as needed
- Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently
- Assist kitchen staff as required during busy periods
- Report any maintenance issues in the dishwashing area promptly
