Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in kitchen or dishwashing preferred
Must be able to read and communicate in English
Ability to work productively in a team environment
Physical ability to perform strenuous labor including lifting
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
ServSafe certification required
Ability to maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with staff, residents, and guests

Job Duties

Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies
Set up the dish and pot washing area
Prepares for dish washing and washes pots, dishes, and utensils
Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes, and utensils
Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
Empties trash containers as required
Maintains standards for personal appearance and cleanliness
