Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service
Strong physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts as needed

Job Qualifications

Experience in bussing and cleaning within a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills advantageous
Previous banquet or catering experience a plus
Strong understanding of food handling practices to maintain safety standards in food service
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
Background in culinary arts or hotel experience beneficial
Passion for providing outstanding hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

Job Duties

Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment
Assist in bussing tables by clearing dishes and utensils promptly after guests finish their meals
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces as needed
Support food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff, including basic cooking and assembling of dishes
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to health and safety regulations
Assist with banquet setups and breakdowns, ensuring all catering needs are met efficiently
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods
