Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in operational support at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice environment is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and operational procedures
- Must work flexible hours Monday through Saturday
- Must adhere to health and safety standards
- Ability to communicate effectively
Job Qualifications
- Ability to understand written and oral directions
- Ability to interpret operational and health and safety procedures
- Capacity to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and discipline
- Organizational skills and self-motivation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in dishwashing or bakery support preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Washing all dishes, keeping all walls, floors, shelves and surfaces clean
- Assisting Baker and Froster with daily tasks and assisting other departments as needed
- Cleaning refrigerators, folding boxes, emptying trash and taking to dumpster
- Performing general cleaning duties
- Maintaining compliance with health and safety standards
- Lifting and moving items of moderate to heavyweight
- Standing and working on feet for extended periods
