Job Duties
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or use dishwashing machine ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth depending on equipment and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures including use of cut gloves when handling knives
- Maintain and track temperatures and chemical levels and report deviations timely
- Clean and maintain dish area and kitchen floors according to safety and sanitation standards
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces as assigned
- Segregate and remove trash, steam clean or hose garbage cans
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas following safe lifting standards
- Assist with loading or unloading supplies and products as needed
- Perform other assigned duties
