Job Requirements
- High school diploma is desirable
- previous restaurant or food service experience helpful
- must possess sufficient strength to perform job responsibilities
- exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds
- push/pull carts and other equipment up to 250 pounds
- must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours
- ability to perform activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling and squatting
- must wear closed toe, non-canvas and non-skid soled shoes
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions
- must be able to work with industrial cleaning supplies
- must be able to work with minimal supervision
- ability to successfully multi-task several duties at one time
- high school diploma is desirable
- previous restaurant or food service experience is helpful
Job Duties
- Sweeps and mops floors
- cleans walls and floor mats
- removes refuse
- cleans trash containers
- maintains the loading dock area in an orderly fashion
- picks up trash in the kitchen and loading dock area
- maintains the walk-in refrigerators
- maintains the cleanliness of storage areas, tools, equipment, carts and other items as directed
- participates in dish area operations
- returns items not sufficiently cleaned for a second wash
- changes and disposes of grease
- maintains constant awareness of safety and accident prevention
- immediately notifies the Manager and completes accident/incident reports if accidents occur
- assists fellow associates
- reports maintenance problems to the Manager on Duty
- follows company policies, safety and sanitation procedures
- may work nights, weekends and overtime
- additional tasks assigned based on business volume and needs
