Job Requirements

  • Must possess sufficient strength to perform job responsibilities
  • able to exert physical effort in lifting and transporting at least 50 pounds
  • capable of pushing and pulling carts and equipment up to 250 pounds
  • able to stand and move continuously for up to 4 hours
  • able to perform activities such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
  • wear closed toe, non-canvas, non-skid soled shoes

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous restaurant or food service experience helpful
  • ability to follow verbal and written directions
  • capable of working with industrial cleaning supplies
  • able to work with minimal supervision
  • able to multitask and manage several duties simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Sweeps and mops floors
  • cleans walls and floor mats
  • removes refuse and cleans trash containers
  • maintains the loading dock area
  • picks up trash in kitchen and loading dock
  • maintains walk-in refrigerators
  • keeps storage areas, tools, equipment, and carts clean
  • participates in dish area operations and returns items not sufficiently cleaned
  • changes and disposes of grease
  • maintains constant awareness of safety and accident prevention
  • assists fellow associates
  • reports maintenance problems to management
  • follows company policies and procedures
  • works nights, weekends, and/or overtime as required
  • performs additional tasks as assigned by management
