Job Requirements
- Must possess sufficient strength to perform job responsibilities
- able to exert physical effort in lifting and transporting at least 50 pounds
- capable of pushing and pulling carts and equipment up to 250 pounds
- able to stand and move continuously for up to 4 hours
- able to perform activities such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
- wear closed toe, non-canvas, non-skid soled shoes
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous restaurant or food service experience helpful
- ability to follow verbal and written directions
- capable of working with industrial cleaning supplies
- able to work with minimal supervision
- able to multitask and manage several duties simultaneously
Job Duties
- Sweeps and mops floors
- cleans walls and floor mats
- removes refuse and cleans trash containers
- maintains the loading dock area
- picks up trash in kitchen and loading dock
- maintains walk-in refrigerators
- keeps storage areas, tools, equipment, and carts clean
- participates in dish area operations and returns items not sufficiently cleaned
- changes and disposes of grease
- maintains constant awareness of safety and accident prevention
- assists fellow associates
- reports maintenance problems to management
- follows company policies and procedures
- works nights, weekends, and/or overtime as required
- performs additional tasks as assigned by management
