Job Requirements
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and techniques, sanitizing agents and equipment
- Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and practices
- Ability to operate dish machine and other equipment as directed
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift

Job Duties
- Responsible for following established procedures to ensure the sanitary maintenance of dish room and entire food service area
- Set up, operate and clean the dish machines
- Clean and sanitize dishware, pots and pans and equipment as directed
- Sweeps and mops floors, removes trash from all food service areas
- Conveys dishware and food items to and from main kitchen area
- Assists in storage of received goods
- Maintains proper amount of dishware, silverware and glassware in all service areas
- Acts in the receiving and storage of goods
- performs other duties as directed
- Assumes responsibility for self-safety and that of immediate work environment
- Attending annual in-service on body mechanics, right-to-know laws, and fire and safety procedures
- Adheres to all Policies and Procedures and performs other duties as assigned
