Job Requirements

must be able to walk, stoop, bend, and stand for the entire shift
must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
must have ability to push in excess of 70 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
must be able to work around moving parts and on wet floors
must be able to work in hot, cold, and wet environments
must be able to work with cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
must have good attendance and punctuality
must be able to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in sanitation or custodial work preferred
knowledge of sanitation standards and protocols including OSHA and HACCP guidelines
ability to operate cleaning and sterilizing equipment
physical ability to perform tasks including lifting and pushing heavy objects
strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
good communication skills

Job Duties

use floor machine to clean work areas
clean floors, walls, bathrooms, offices, coolers, freezers, ramps, and equipment
clean kitchen tools, trays, pots and pans
empty trash around the building
handle international garbage according to protocols
maintain sanitation standards as per company policies and USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations
operate sterilizer, autoclave, and assigned cleaning equipment
follow safety guidelines while working with chemicals
work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment
maintain good attendance and punctuality
