Job Requirements
- Must be able to walk, stoop, bend and stand for entire shift
- Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
- Ability to push in excess of 70 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet environments
- Must maintain good attendance
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in sanitation or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of USDA, FDA, and HACCP sanitation standards
- Ability to operate floor cleaning machines and sterilizers
- Physical stamina to walk, stand, stoop, bend and lift heavy items
- Ability to work flexible hours and under pressure
- Familiarity with safe chemical handling practices
Job Duties
- Use floor machine to clean floors and work areas
- Clean floors, walls, bathrooms, offices, coolers, freezers, ramps and equipment
- Clean kitchen tools, equipment trays, pots and pans
- Empty trash throughout the building
- Handle international garbage according to established protocols
- Maintain sanitation standards in line with company policy and USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations
- Operate sterilizer, autoclave and work in assigned departments
