Job Requirements

  • Strength to lift up to 50lbs
  • standing 70 percent of the time, walking 30 percent
  • frequent movement of objects
  • occasional heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing or balancing
  • frequent stooping, reaching and handling
  • frequent talking, hearing and seeing
  • ability to work in varying temperature conditions
  • availability to work Monday through Friday 7 am to 3 pm
  • punctuality and adherence to dress code

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in foodservice or kitchen cleaning preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
  • ability to operate dishwashing machinery
  • understanding of safety protocols for handling chemicals
  • strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Assist chefs with prepping daily items and setting up line with food
  • sweep, mop, clean, wipe, scrub, polish and wash
  • sort and replenish silverware, china, glassware and smallwares
  • wash pots, pans utensils, plates, bowls, forks, knives and spoon, etc
  • scrap trays from the tray return mechanism to maintain proper clearing of mechanism and flow of customers
  • properly operate dish machine at sufficient speed to maintain flow per Army Standards
  • properly handle chemicals per MSDS and Southern Safety protocols
