Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred or GED accepted
- Some kitchen experience desirable
- Basic knife skills required
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Organizational and time management skills
- Physically able to bend and reach
- Physically able to push, pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds
- Physically able to stand for extended periods
- May be required to work weekends and holidays
- May be required to work shifts other than assigned
- May be required to work extended hours up to 16 hours per day
- May be subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases including HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis B and C
- Could be subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents
- Must be in good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
- Background, criminal and drug tests may be required
- May be asked to submit to random drug test during employment
- May have image used in social media or community advertising
- May be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents apartments

Job Duties
- Follow posted work schedule and arrive on time in appropriate work attire
- Properly wash china, flatware, glassware, and kitchen equipment following machine rinse pressure and water temperature guidelines
- Maintain the kitchen and assigned areas in sanitary condition
- Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with kitchen personnel and residents
- Follow food handling procedures and regulations
- Operate kitchen appliances such as garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker, and ice machine
- Assist with food preparation, inventory, maintenance, food deliveries, and stocking shelves
