Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • minimum 2 years related work experience
  • minimum 1 year supervisory experience
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • reliable and punctual
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Direct and assist stewards to improve cleanup efficiency
  • ensure water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate and documented
  • assist with banquet plate-ups
  • assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks
  • provide necessary items to cooks
  • support banquet and buffet stock and transport
  • return cleaned items to proper locations
  • operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashing machine, hand wash and pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactor
  • assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
  • follow company safety and security policies, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome and address guests service needs
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • develop positive working relationships
  • ensure adherence to quality standards
  • perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, reaching, and moving objects up to 50 pounds
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
