Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid Food Handler Card
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted and 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work in varied environments including noisy, smoky, hot, cold, or humid conditions
- Ability to lift, bend, and kneel
- Must reliably commute or plan to relocate to St. George, UT

- Understanding of kitchen equipment and their standard usage
Job Duties
- Sweep, scrub, and mop the entire kitchen floor ensuring mats are removed and lined to be cleaned
- Assist the front-of-house when needed to sweep and mop the dining room floor and behind the bar
- Deep clean under the bar wells to ensure sanitation inspection compliance
- Clean the drains in the bar and back-of-house nightly to meet sanitation standards
- Scrub and wipe down the entire dish room including dishwasher, walls, shelves, and sinks
- Clean all doors using a cloth towel and soap to prevent scratching
- Sweep, scrub, and mop all walk-in and freezer floors in storage areas
- Scrub and clean all bus trays
- Remove black stains from pots
- Remove day dot stickers from pans and plastic containers
- Soak and scrub all cutting boards
- Clean dirty pizza dough trays
- Soak and clean all coffee cups, glassware, dishware, and silverware
- Run dish and glass racks only when full ensuring appropriate racks are used
- Handle all glasses, plates, bowls, and equipment carefully
- Ensure no silverware is thrown away or placed with linens
- Take out all garbage and boxes and clean garbage cans consistently throughout each shift
- Salvage any reusable supplies
- Clean and put away all food and cleaning supplies in storage areas
- Ensure proper care and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
- Clean the dishwasher thoroughly before the end of each shift
