Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous kitchen or dishwashing experience a plus
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- ability to follow safety procedures
- ability to communicate effectively
- willingness to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
- ability to handle exposure to chemicals and noise
- ability to work in hot kitchen environment
- adherence to Hilton Quality Assurance cleanliness standards

Job Duties
- Complete opening duties including setting up and organizing dishwashing area
- clean remaining dishes from prior day
- complete closing duties including cleaning and organizing dishwashing area
- remove trash bins and empty outside
- perform nightly cleaning duties
- operate all assigned equipment safely
- sort and wash all soiled china, glass, and flatware using proper procedures
- load and unload dishwasher items to storage
- maintain dish machine and check temperature
- minimize breakage using proper storage
- assist with stocking supplies as directed
- assist with food preparation as directed
- perform additional cleaning of kitchen areas
- keep pots, pans, and utensils clean according to standards
- transport wares within kitchen
- maintain safe, clean dishwashing area
- check and maintain par stock of service station wares
- monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of service areas
- empty and disinfect trash bins
- clean designated areas on cleaning list
- perform other duties as assigned
