Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food Safety Handler Certificate preferred or required by state
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals
- Ability to follow proper sanitation procedures
- Capacity to lift and move heavy kitchen items
- Availability for PRN shifts
- Compliance with confidentiality policies

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and chemical concentrations
- Prepare items for washing by scraping and presoaking, ensuring all visible soil is removed
- Deliver patient trays and late trays accurately and on time, following identification protocols and confidentiality policies
- Transport patient meal carts and bulk nourishment carts to and from nursing units, maintaining cleanliness of all carts and equipment
- Restock clean serviceware to designated locations using correct handling procedures
- Monitor dishroom sanitation logs, chemical usage, and equipment performance to ensure compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
