Job Requirements

No degree or any other education earned
No prior experience required
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, squatting, standing, and walking as detailed
Ability to handle exposure to dust, gas/vapors/fumes, hazardous chemicals, heating devices, moving mechanical parts, needles/sharp objects, potential electric shock, and wet or slippery surfaces
Must be able to work day shifts

Job Qualifications

Ability to comply with safety and sanitation standards
Ability to follow internal policies and regulatory requirements
Good physical stamina to perform bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling tasks
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment

Job Duties

Complies with internal policies and procedures regarding kitchen safety and sanitation
Transports carts and delivers meal trays to assigned areas
Picks up meal trays from assigned areas
Collects and disposes of food-related and recyclable waste and trash regularly
Performs warewashing duties including operating dish machines and three compartment pot sinks
Cleans and maintains carts and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and solutions
Adheres to safety guidelines during all cleaning and maintenance tasks
