Job Requirements
- No degree or any other education earned required
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- No prior experience required
- Physically capable of bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs non-patient items
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive hand/arm movements for up to 60 percent of the work time
- Must comply with hand hygiene and kitchen sanitation standards
- Must pass post-offer pre-placement assessment and drug testing
Job Qualifications

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow detailed safety and hygiene protocols
- Previous experience in foodservice or healthcare environment preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing procedures and regulations
Job Duties
- Complies with internal policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements/standards regarding kitchen safety and sanitation
- Cleans and maintains carts and kitchen equipment, using proper techniques and cleaning solutions
- Regularly collects and disposes of all food related and recyclable waste/trash
- Performs ware washing duties per safety guidelines, including dish machine and three compartment pot sink
- Transports carts, delivers meal trays, or picks up meal trays from assigned areas
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of foodservice areas to prevent contamination
- Supports staff and patient needs by ensuring timely and efficient foodservice operations
