- able to push or pull 0-75 lbs non-patient items
- able to reach frequently
- able to squat, stand and walk for up to 60 percent of the work time
- able to use hand and arm repetitive movements
- able to perform tasks involving exposure to dust, gas, vapors, fumes, hazardous chemicals, fire risk, heating devices, moving mechanical parts, needles, sharp objects, blood and bodily fluids, communicable diseases, domestic animals, and wet or slippery surfaces
- able to communicate using audible speech and have good hearing and vision acuity

Job Duties
- Transport carts and deliver meal trays to assigned areas
- pick up meal trays from assigned areas
- regularly collect and dispose of all food related and recyclable waste and trash
- perform warewashing duties including use of dishmachine and three compartment pot sink per safety guidelines
- clean and maintain carts and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and cleaning solutions
- comply with internal policies and procedures and regulatory requirements regarding kitchen safety and sanitation
- maintain accountability and deliver excellent customer service
- adapt to changing workloads and maintain patient and family centered care
