- must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- capable of bending and stooping up to 80 percent of the time
- able to climb up to 40 percent of the time
- capable of kneeling 40 percent of the time
- able to lift and carry non-patient items weighing between 0 to 75 pounds
- able to push or pull objects weighing between 0 to 75 pounds
- able to reach up to 60 percent of the time
- able to perform repetitive hand and arm movements up to 60 percent of the time
- able to squat 60 percent of the time
- capable of standing, walking, and communicating effectively up to 60 percent of the time
- exposure to dust, gas, vapors, fumes, hazardous chemicals, extreme heat or cold, fire risk, heating devices, moving mechanical parts, needles or sharp objects, potential electric shock, wet or slippery surfaces

Job Duties
- Complies with internal policies and procedures
- comply with regulatory requirements and standards related to kitchen safety and sanitation
- transport carts and deliver meal trays to assigned areas
- clean and maintain carts and kitchen equipment using appropriate techniques and cleaning solutions
- perform warewashing duties including dishmachine and three compartment pot sink
- collect and dispose of all food related and recyclable waste and trash regularly
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation to support patient and family centered care
