Job Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma/GED
  • must possess reading ability for schedules, MSDS, and completing forms
  • ability to be safety oriented
  • must be able to operate dishwashing machine and floor machines
  • must be able to lift up to 35lbs
  • must be able to speak and understand English and interact with guests and co-workers
  • must possess written communication skills
  • must be able to work in extreme temperatures from 0 to 110 degrees
  • must be able to work under extreme noise
  • must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Effectively loads and operates the dish washing machines
  • hand washes pots, pans, and other items in accordance with sanitation and cleanliness standards
  • thoroughly cleans dish machine by emptying and filling tanks
  • ensures curtains are set up
  • empties grease traps and barrels
  • checks and replenishes rinse agent and detergent
  • promptly notifies supervisor of any irregularities with the machine
  • thoroughly cleans and empties disposal drains regularly
  • keeps dish cleaning area and floor clean and free from debris
  • empties all trash in kitchen area and employee cafeteria
  • correctly separates recyclable items into proper cardboard and bottles/plastic containers
  • maintains bus stations in assigned areas
  • ensures areas have soiled silverware containers, bus buckets, and empty garbage cans
  • correctly places soiled dishes on racks in dish cleaning machine
  • separates silverware for cleaning and washes silverware twice
  • stacks clean dishes in proper storage area
  • ensures pot sink area is clean and free from debris
  • stores pots inverted in designated storage and complies with health standards
  • uses chemicals properly in correct concentrations
