Job Requirements
- Approved Food Handler's Card prior to first day of work
- Non-slip shoes prior to first day of work
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic knowledge of health and safety rules
- Demonstrable high level of customer service
- Highly organized and able to switch between locations and duties
- Comfortable working in a diverse and inclusive environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to stand 100 percent of the time
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environment with exposure to cold, heat, and water
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in customer service or high volume food service preferred
- One year of dishwasher experience preferred
- Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Able to read and write to facilitate communication
- Correctly follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain highest standards of conduct and confidentiality
- Willing to learn and grow
- Seeks out new training opportunities
- May perform additional duties as requested by management
Job Duties
- Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment in a timely manner
- Assist with cleaning, stocking, and lifting items as requested
- Ensure dishes are restocked accordingly
- Keep dish room and equipment clean and organized
- Step in as line server when the Caffe gets busy
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by a manager
