Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior dishwashing or similar experience preferred
- physical ability to lift 20lb trays and operate cleaning equipment
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- willingness to work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Commensurate or transfer skill set is primary importance
- good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria
- able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required
- must be able to lift a 20lb tray of dishes
- must be able to lift and dump our commercial-sized mop bucket
- must be able to operate a commercial vacuum
Job Duties
- Sweep and mop walk-in, dry storage, back dock area making sure area is neat and clean
- empty trash and take all trash to dumpster, reporting back if dumpster is full
- clean dumpster area when needed
- clean strainer under the dish machine
- wipe down all dish areas, then use stainless steel polish on all metal surfaces, including glass rack area, sinks, and all machine areas
- make sure glasses and cups are in the correct racks
- make sure to use the proper procedure to do silverware
