Job Requirements

- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Understanding of sanitation and safety practices
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Job Duties
- Clean dishes, pots and pans, glassware and silverware by hand or machine
- Transport clean and dry tableware to proper places in dining rooms and kitchens
- Clean working areas, steam tables, refrigerators and kitchen equipment
- Assist in cutting, peeling and washing fruits and vegetables as State youth laws permit
- Remove garbage from kitchen areas
- Sweep and mop floors thoroughly at end of shift
- Follow daily sanitation cleaning schedule
- Check in and stock groceries
- Discard broken and chipped glassware after showing the items to be discarded to the Sous Chef
- Help set-up and break down after Special Functions and deliver food to various areas as needed
