Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and lifting tasks
- Willingness to adhere to cleaning and sanitation standards
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Successful completion of required background screening and fingerprinting as applicable

Job Duties
- Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs
- Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times
- Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures
- Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner
- Keep kitchen floors clean and trash emptied
- Check dish machine for chemicals and refill as needed
- Maintain dish machine after each meal by cleaning and monitoring sanitizing levels
- Record temperature and sanitation levels into logs before each meal
- Adhere to assigned cleaning schedules
- Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies
- Assist cooks and wait staff as requested
- Support preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and themed meals
- Attend pre-meal kitchen stand ups
- Perform other duties as assigned
