Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
- Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Successful completion of background and health screenings including TB test and drug screen
- Up-to-date annual influenza vaccine required
- Flexibility to work Monday to Wednesday 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a professional and positive work environment

- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment cleaning
Job Duties
- Clean, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and work areas
- Maintain the dish machine, including end-of-shift draining and cleaning
- Keep dry goods, raw food, and supplies neatly organized
- Assist with basic food preparation when needed
- Support receiving and stocking of deliveries
- Empty and sanitize trash receptacles
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety standards
- Assist with sweeping, mopping, and equipment cleaning
- Help ensure kitchen spaces are clean, safe, and ready for the next shift
- Communicate and collaborate with cooks and dining staff as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Contribute to a respectful, mission-driven, resident-focused environment
