Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interpret and explain menu items and coordinate meal service process
- Ability to work cooperatively with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors, and peers with courtesy and tact
- Possess effective communication skills and sound judgment
- Ability to work well under pressure and possess strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Remove used dishes, utensils, glasses, and other items from tables promptly after guests leave
- Clean and sanitize table surfaces and chairs, then reset tables with clean utensils, napkins, and place settings
- Greet residents upon arrival and keep guest water glasses filled
- Assist servers by refilling beverages and running food to tables
- Complete opening and closing checklists with the team
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, floors, and service stations throughout the shift
- Refill napkins, silverware, condiments, and other supplies at server stations
- Provide friendly, helpful interactions with guests and escalate queries to servers or managers as needed
