Job Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- food handlers certification required
- ability to kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- able to push goods on a hand cart or truck weighing up to 200 pounds
- able to perform duties in confined spaces and varied temperature ranges
- capable of standing and moving throughout the kitchen during entire shift
- manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- food handlers certification required
- no prior experience required but hotel experience is preferred
Job Duties
- Provide impeccably clean, sanitized and spotless service ware and cooking utensils
- ensure the safety and well-being of guests and team members by prioritizing cleanliness and hygiene
- utilize dishwashing or pot machines to thoroughly clean soiled dishware
- promptly and systematically store ware in designated areas
- maintain cleanliness and functionality of dishwashing equipment, storage, and work areas
- monitor cleaning supplies levels to facilitate timely reordering
