Job Requirements
- Some prior dishwashing experience preferred
- availability to work part-time shifts Monday through Thursday
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting
- willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- reliable and punctual
- ability to communicate effectively with team members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- some prior dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina for standing and lifting
- willingness to learn and adapt to food service standards
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine
- washes pots, pans, and trays ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- polishes silver using appropriate equipment and procedures
- ensures compliance with safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels according to standards
- keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain safety and sanitation
