Job Requirements

  • Six months dish washing experience preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation techniques
  • maintain clean personal appearance and hygiene
  • capable of standing for extended periods
  • ability to work in extreme temperatures ranging from +110F to -10F
  • capable of bending, squatting, climbing, and walking
  • able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and push 250 lbs carts
  • capable of performing repetitive motions
  • high school level math
  • no computer skills required
  • no certificates or licenses required

Job Qualifications

  • Six months dish washing experience in a restaurant setting preferred
  • effective communication skills in English
  • knowledge of sanitation, chemical, and ware washing procedures
  • high school level math
  • maintain good personal hygiene
  • ability to work cooperatively with team members

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans
  • ensure adequate stock of clean utensils and equipment for restaurant shift openings
  • transport dirty items using carts
  • maintain cleanliness and order in storage rooms and kitchen areas
  • cooperate and communicate effectively with kitchen and dining room staff
  • comply with health and safety standards
  • assist with additional kitchen duties as assigned
