Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- no previous dishwashing experience required
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive tasks
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machines ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- washes pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures
- polishes silverware using various methods including burnishing machines and chemical dips
- follows all outlined safety procedures
- maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels
- keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain sanitation and safety
- cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and food prep surfaces
- removes trash and sanitizes garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists with loading and unloading supplies
- performs other duties as assigned
