Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Food and beverage experience is preferred but not required
ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment
Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with other team members
Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers

Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment
Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively in English
Strong self-motivation and organizational skills
Positive interpersonal skills
Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously

Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
Ability to perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances
Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in environments with varying conditions including high heat steam and varying odors

Job Duties

Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
Load and unload dishwashing machines
Wash items in 3 compartment sinks when dishwasher is unavailable
Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately following food safety and sanitation guidelines
Set up workstations before meal prep begins
Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, utensils, and equipment especially during peak hours
Maintain cleaning supplies stock such as detergents
Check dishwashing machines operation and report any technical or performance issues to management
Remove garbage regularly
Sanitize the kitchen area including the floor
Go above and beyond for guests and other team members
Enthusiastically support decisions once they have been made by management
Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Maintain a clean organized work environment free of safety hazards which may include sweeping and mopping
Accountable for compliance with all local, state, federal laws and regulations including those relating to food safety
Perform other duties as assigned
