Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Food and beverage experience is preferred but not required
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
- Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with other team members
- Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers

- Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment
- Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong self-motivation and organizational skills
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
- Ability to perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in environments with varying conditions including high heat steam and varying odors
Job Duties
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Wash items in 3 compartment sinks when dishwasher is unavailable
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, utensils, and equipment especially during peak hours
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock such as detergents
- Check dishwashing machines operation and report any technical or performance issues to management
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area including the floor
- Go above and beyond for guests and other team members
- Enthusiastically support decisions once they have been made by management
- Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean organized work environment free of safety hazards which may include sweeping and mopping
- Accountable for compliance with all local, state, federal laws and regulations including those relating to food safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
