Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dishwashers, hand-washing stations, pot washing stations, and garbage compactors
- Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, storage rooms, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- Receive deliveries, properly store perishables, and rotate inventory
- Ensure clean dishes are stored correctly
- Use chemical detergents, disinfectants, and rinse agents in triple-compartment sinks to clean dishes
- Inspect, stack, and rewash dirty items as necessary
- Spray hot water to loosen and remove food residue from items
- Sort, soak, and clean silverware
- Sort and separate containers for dirty items
- Empty trash bins and maintain garbage disposal areas
- Clean and mop assigned areas
- Dispose of glass in correct containers
- Break down cardboard boxes and recyclables and place them in recycling bins
- Follow all company safety policies and report accidents or dangerous conditions
- Protect company assets
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
- Ensure compliance with quality and performance standards
- Lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds independently
- Stand, sit, reach, bend, twist, and perform other physical tasks for prolonged periods
- Perform other reasonable work tasks as requested by supervisors
