Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dishwashing machines and pot-scrubbing stations
- Wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives and equipment
- Receive deliveries, store perishables properly and rotate stock
- Use detergent, rinsing and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes and silverware
- Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing
- Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area, break down cardboard boxes and place recyclables in the recycle bin
- Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments and dispose of glass in the proper containers
- Follow all company and safety policies and procedures and report maintenance needs and unsafe work conditions
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
