Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashing machines and trash compactors
- Wash and disinfect kitchen, storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock
- Use detergent and sanitizing chemicals in a three-compartment sink to clean dishes
- Inspect and rewash cleaned items as necessary
- Rack and spray items with hot water to remove food residue
- Sort, soak, and wash or rewash silverware
- Break down dirty bus tubs and maintain trashcans and dumpster area
- Clean and mop all assigned departmental areas
- Dispose of glass properly and recycle cardboard and other recyclables
- Follow all company safety and security policies and report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
- Participate in safety training and certifications
- Maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
